Cookies Policy
What are cookies?
The website owned by CIUDALCO GESTIÓN, S.L. (hereinafter “the web” or the “website”) uses cookies and/or similar technologies that store and retrieve information when you browse. In general, these technologies can be used for various purposes, such as recognizing you as a user, obtaining information about your browsing habits, or personalizing the way content is displayed.
The user can configure their browser to notify and reject the installation of cookies sent by the website, without affecting the possibility of accessing the content of said website, although the quality of the website's operation may decrease. The specific uses we make of these technologies are described below.
What types of cookies exist?
Cookies, based on their permanence, can be divided into:
- Session Cookies: These are designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a web page. They are usually used to store information that only needs to be kept for the duration of the service requested. They expire when the user closes the browser.

- Persistent Cookies: These are those where the data remains stored in the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a defined period based on the purpose for which they serve (for example, to keep the user identified in the services) or until they are manually deleted.

Based on their owner, cookies can be divided into:
- First-party cookies: These are sent to the user's terminal equipment from a device or domain managed by the editor itself and from which the requested service is provided to the user.

- Third-party cookies: These are sent to the user's terminal equipment from a device or domain that is not managed by the editor but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.

Additionally, based on their purpose, cookies can be classified as follows:
- Technical cookies: These allow the user to navigate through a web page, platform, or application and use the different options or services available on it, including those that the editor uses to manage and operate the web page and enable its functions and services, such as identifying the session or controlling data traffic and communication.

- Preference or personalization cookies: This type of cookie remembers your preferences for the tools found in the services, so you do not have to reconfigure the service each time you visit. For example, this category includes: Volume settings for video or sound players and video transmission speeds compatible with your browser.
- Geolocation cookies: These cookies are used to find out in which country you are located when requesting a service. This cookie is completely anonymous and is only used to help target content to your location.

- Registration cookies: These cookies are generated once the user has registered or subsequently opened their session and are used to identify them in the services with the following objectives: Keeping the user identified so that if they close a service, the browser, or the computer, and at another time or another day re-enter that service, they will remain identified, thus facilitating their navigation without having to log in again. This functionality can be suppressed if the user clicks on the "log out" functionality, so this cookie is deleted, and the next time they enter the service, they will have to log in to be identified. Check if the user is authorized to access certain services, for example, to participate in a contest.
- Analysis or measurement cookies: Each time a user visits a service, a tool from an external provider generates an analytical cookie on the user's computer. This cookie, which is only generated during the visit, will be used in future visits to the website services to identify the visitor anonymously. The main objectives pursued are: Allowing the anonymous identification of browsing users through the cookie (identifies browsers and devices, not people) and therefore the approximate counting of the number of visitors and their trend over time. Identifying anonymously the most visited content and therefore the most attractive to users. Knowing whether the user who is accessing is new or a repeat visitor. Important: Unless the user decides to register for a service on the web, the cookie will never be associated with any personal data that can identify them. These cookies will only be used for statistical purposes that help optimize the user experience on the site.
- Behavioral advertising cookies: This type of cookie allows for expanding the information of the ads displayed to each anonymous user on the website services. Among other things, it stores the duration or frequency of viewing advertising positions, interaction with them, or user navigation patterns and/or behaviors as they help to form a profile of advertising interest. In this way, they allow advertising to be offered according to the user's interests.

- Third-party advertising cookies: In addition to the advertising managed by the website on its services, the website offers its advertisers the option of serving ads through third parties ("AdServers"). In this way, these third parties can store cookies sent from the website services from users' browsers, as well as access the data stored in them.
